DPS assisted in the development of the NASDAQ’s central transaction engine. Together the two teams engineered a NOC and application infrastructure capable of scaling to 50,000 systems and equipped it with the most advanced security protocols. Public computing solutions are highly susceptible to criminal activity. Computers are constantly being attacked by viruses, adware and spyware. At a minimum, unprotected system become overwhelmed with unsightly and often pornographic pop-ups and viruses that eventually corrupt the software making them non-functional. The current threat is spyware or more specifically keystroke loggers. Criminals install keystroke loggers to record the personal information of unsuspecting users. This information is used to steal identities for credit card fraud and worse. Recent news reports described an Eastern Bloc crime ring was targeting public computers with keystroke loggers. According to the FBI, the cyber-thieves had stolen tens of millions of user funds by looting US 401K’s, bank accounts, and stock trading accounts.GBCblue is dedicated to securing it’s users from all malware. GBCblue systems are the only public-space systems to date to offer protection from all malware including keystroke loggers. Additionally all user data is completely eradicated, to the specifications of the Department of Defense, after each use. GBCblue employs dual-layer encryption and SSL for all payment transactions. Payment Processing & PCI Compliance
The Cardholder Information Security Program (CISP) requirements were incorporated as the industry standard for online payment and data transactions known as Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standard in 2004. The GBCblue network infrastructure, which includes a payment processing engine, adheres to the security standards of CISP. The GBCblue network operating center is audited by ScanAlert each day to ensure continual compliance to the CISP/PCI standards.Real-Time Reports
All user activity can be viewed in real-time through secure online report portal. GBCblue provides usage and revenue reports for single sites. The available information is isolated for that particular property. The owner can see today’s revenues as well as historical numbers.For corporate chains and property management, GBCblue can provide regional and global reports. GBCblue can even create customized reports so corporate can track the performance and trends of its locations.
