The Cardholder Information Security Program (CISP) requirements were incorporated as the industry standard for online payment and data transactions known as Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standard in 2004. The GBCblue network infrastructure, which includes a payment processing engine, adheres to the security standards of CISP. The GBCblue network operating center is audited by ScanAlert each day to ensure continual compliance to the CISP/PCI standards.
